Layers in Men’s Ski Jackets
Men’s ski jackets are jackets which make men always warm and dry when they are skiing. Ski is a favorite sport for people in winter. It is funny sport because it is different from other sport that people can do since it is only in winter. Sometimes people are playing ski with their gang, boyfriend, or girlfriend to create a sweet moment with them. Not only to create a sweet moment, but ski also gives much benefit for people’s health like losing people’s weight, improving breathing system, and strengthening muscles. In order to get full benefits from ski, people must pay attention for some factors. They are skiing tools such as sticks, techniques and definitely ski jackets. Jacket becomes an important factor for ski player because jacket is an outfit that will keep them from cold. Ski jacket consists of four types of layer. They are wool base layer, wind layer, insulation layer and hard layer. Here only wool base layer and wind layer will be explained.
Base layer is the closest layer to the skin, and this layer collects sweat from the body. The purpose of wool base layer in men’s ski jackets is to keep the body dry. The system will pull the moisture especially sweat away from skin and spared it equally in the fabric. There are two types of base layer, and they are wool and synthetic. People choose wool as the base layer because wool is more comfortable than synthetic. But, some people choose synthetic as the base since it is cheaper. Both of wool and synthetic base layer use zip neck.
The second layer is called wind layer. This layer has purpose to capture and keep warmth. Each brand has different thickness. Usually, this layer uses thick wool as the layer and this layer has a full zip neck or zip neck to make people control the heat. Those all are about base and wind layer in men’s ski jackets.
